CLEVELAND - NEW SEASON, NEW RULES |
|
|
 |
The Cleveland Indians go into the new season with low expectations in the league, but high of themselves. Neall Brodock said it the best, 'It's like playin after being drafted, you don't know anyone but you see yourself advancing to the next level with those guys.' Nuke Holman 'I was very offended when I was told by numerous sources that I wasn't worth 52 million. I think I am worth more & I will prove it' Words said by Holman hours after signing the 4 year 13 mil deal. He showed why Cleveland signed him by showing up to ST in shape & ready to go. In ST he went 3-0 in 5 games, 20IP 22K & 13BB.
Former & Current Indian George 'The Guz' Guzman said that if the pen can hold up this team is getting into hte playoffs. Pairing up Edgar 'The RBI man' Pinkova & Guz was the most genious move this offseason. All 11 of George's season he has over 90 runs. 9 seasons in a row if more then 100.
Staff;
1- Keith Holman - Money bags, he will be throwing diving $100 bills for Strikeouts
2- Purinsu Shimpei - 6-1 last season in 10 starts got him a 2 year 4 a season, this team can win if he can keep the offense in the game
3- John Fleischer - His entire career he has been a pitcher who can keep you in it. He will post a 4.5era & can win 15 if the offense is as good as thought.
4- Joe Rice - Rough around the edges, but was working with the pitching coach this offseason.
5- Kevin Padilla - The Indians think he is the best 5 slot man in the game. will post an era around 4 with 14wins.
Setup - Gerald Heckmuller - No success at the big league level, but he is looking to change that.
Closer - Neall Brodock - Everyone knows who he is.
