Since the dissolution of the Nippon and Cuban leagues, the HBL brass have decided to let a handful of foreign players into the league. Owners can find these players by going to HBL --> Free Agency in the game.
Some notables:
Ken Rin, Japan -
Ken Rin is one of the most popular and decorated players in Nippon history. A career .309 hitter with a .964 OSP, the lefthanded outfielder has won almost every award available to Japanese hitters. Rin is a 2 time MVP, 2 time Gold Glover and 9 time allstar. The catch? He'll be 42 years old when the 2033 season begins. He's still rated 8-8-9-10-5 and asking approximately $14m per season.
Takejeiro Murayama, Japan -
Murayama was a budding star after his 2031 season when he bat .325 with 33 homers at the age of 23. However, his followup season was not as impressive as all his numbers dropped. At only age 25, he has a lot of upside and is rated 7-8-8-6-10. His agent is asking upwards of 50m over 4 years.
Hiroshigi Kobayashi, Japan -
Another youngster, Kobayashi comes over at just 25 years of age. He has 5 pitches in his arsenal, all above average. He's never been able to put it all together, posting just average seasons in Japan. Injuries have forced him to put up just 51 starts in his past 2 seasons. A bidding war is expected because his agent is asking for the bare minimum of $250k.
